"Metamorphosis" Paintings emphasize crucial changing, and transforming, for personal and professional growth and development, and they encourage one to embrace it. Change starts from the inner self, one’s beliefs, thoughts, values, and from others who affect the outcomes and environments surrounding us.
I represented the change by the metamorphosis and cycle of growth of the butterfly. This insect needs an inner push by light to spark it from inside the cocoon to spread its wings and fly.
I used two layers of Gesso prior to painting and highly professional Golden acrylic paint. My tools were paint brushes and finger strokes on Opus Canadian canvas.
